Walking for Lulu 2026
Thank you for participating in our virtual event Walking for Lulu 2026! For the third year participants from across the country will be walking in their shoes for Lulu to help us increase awareness about PANS, PANDAS and POTS throughout the month of October. Please consider a donation to The Louisa Adelynn Johnson Fund for Complex Disease in honor of this event by making a contribution below. Any amount is much appreciated, and all donations will exclusively be used to support the vital work of researchers seeking to improve our understanding of complex chronic illness with the ultimate goal of developing tools to better diagnose and treat PANS, PANDAS, and POTS.
You also can join us in our fundraising efforts by creating a team with a fundraising goal of your choice.
Please complete this this form for your team so that we can send you a team toolkit following your registration. Don’t forget to post your team photos and tag The Louisa Adelynn Johnson Fund for Complex Disease on Facebook, Instagram, and/or X and using the #walkingforlulu. This year there will be awards and prizes for Best Furry Friend, Most Scenic Backdrop, Most Creative and Best Group Shot. Thank you for your support of our efforts!
The Louisa Adelynn Johnson Fund for Complex Disease
Through The Louisa Adelynn Johnson Fund for Complex Disease, we seek to advance scientific research and, in turn, the medical community's understanding of complex disease. With your support, the fund will provide grants to conduct vital research studies at major academic institutions studying these conditions.
Research projects on such complex conditions often is underfunded or, as in the case of the inflammatory brain disorders PANS and PANDAS, receive very limited federal funding--a major source of support for scientific research in the United States. Your contribution will pave the way toward better treatments and quality of life for children like Louisa “Lulu” Johnson.
