In Ecuador, a child with autism born into extreme poverty often grows up without a diagnosis, without therapy, and without a school willing to include them. At Camina Conmigo – Education for Children with Autism in Ecuador, we walk with more than 100 families who face these challenges every day. Many come to us after years of being told “there is no support,” and for the first time, their children receive the tools to communicate, learn, and be understood.

Through warm, family-centered therapy programs, teacher training, and inclusive education partnerships, we help children take their first steps toward autonomy and belonging. We have trained more than 50 teachers to welcome and support students with autism, and we continue reaching communities that have been forgotten for far too long.
